Inside The Rehab Lab: A Closer Look at Our Vision and Values

An integrated FabLab in a rehab/medico-social structure that allows patients / residents to become actors in the production of technical aids by 3D printing. This solution is based on the REHAB-LAB logic model involving users and transdisciplinary practices (occupational therapists & technical referents).

The Rehab Lab SG has already allowed the transfer of self-designed 3D-printed assistive devices to three adopters with different maturity levels. The twinning has also helped to set up an operational framework and start a European REHAB-LAB community. Moreover, the twinning has helped to ensure that the adopters are ready to continue with the implementation of their REHAB-LAB after the end of the twinning by organising two trainings and deployment of a collaborative IT platform. This will also allow them to continue sharing and learning from each other after the end of the twinning.
